Mandrino Hotel

First off, the staff. Every one of them was polite and friendly. I must give a special shout out to Maria on the evening shift one of the best receptionists I have met in my 50 years of travelling. The location is excellent bus stops a minute away, metro 5 mins and the pick up point for many of the tours outside the city is 10 minute walk. Very lively restaurant, cafe and bar area again 10 mins away , as is the sea front. Hotel is on a very busy road but even on the 2nd floor the soundproofing cut out all traffic noise.

Rooms are on the small side. However, as a single traveller who only uses his room to sleep and shower I was fine.

The location is perfect for our short stay. Close to everything

Good location, good price

The location is very central, only a couple of minutes walk to the seaside. The staff is friendly, they helped us with the location of the paid parking place before our arrival. The paid parking is 50 meters away from the hotel and costs 20EUR for overnight parking. The room is not big, but it is clean and tidy. It has robes, slippers and extra pillows which are plus. The WiFi and AC is functioning well. Overall, it was a good experience.

The sound isolation of the main door is not good at all (we stayed at room 605). You can hear all the talks/walks from hallway, as if they are next to you. This should be improved.
