Domaine Des Remparts Hotel & Spa

Set in an amazing garden with birds and frogs and date palms bursting with dates, with two amazing pools, with clean and spacious villas and super helpful staff. We couldn’t fault it and wished we stayed longer :) the free shuttle to medina was very convenient and reliable.

If some one is a foodie, this might not be a place for them. The food was on expensive side, tagines not served in tagine, and lamb tqgine was very tough. But you can always take a transfers to town for food.

Large comfortable rooms, nice garden and pools. Generous breakfast. Good spa.

Room service ends too early. Rooms are a little dark.

Beautiful hotel, close to the city

The breakfast is generous, varied and well served. The pool area is very relaxed with calm music and atmosphere, the rooms are large, clean and well air conditioned, the decoration throughout the property is clean and cohesive.

The attitude of the male front of house staff was disappointing from check in onwards. We felt dismissed and unwelcome when we arrived and had questions about the spa and the possibility of paying for an additional room. We were given our room information in French, even though we clearly didn’t speak French. We have stayed a number of times (separately and as friends) and had booked a twin room. It was confirmed before arrival but our room was made up with a double bed. When we explained that this has happened before (a double being given when a twin room was clearly requested and confirmed) and that we would like to discuss having an additional room, we felt as though we were haggled with by the male hotel manager ‘you only booked one room so of course I cannot give you two!’ We were then ‘upgraded’ due to the mistake to a room that was exactly the same as the one we had been given, but the beds were 10cms apart. The experience was unpleasant.
