This hotel is fab, perfectly situated to explore the local area, the staff are all very friendly, a great breakfast which was replenished regular, comfy and clean room, no complaints at all about the place, I’m not sure why some other reviewer said this hotel didn’t have a lift but I can 100% confirm that the Craiglands does have a lift as we used it during our stay, its in the reception area, no problems with the keycards either as some others have mentioned, this is our second visit and I’m sure we will be back again in the future.

This was our 4th stay over the last few years, we love the town of Ilkley as it’s just so charming for one or two nights break. Hotel has character and in a good location close to the town, just a short stroll and you’re there. Hotel is well managed and clean, breakfast is also good with plenty of choices.
Only thing i can mention this time that wasn’t nice, was the smell of fresh paint in the rooms but will settle down in time. I think the bathroom could do with better showers, i struggled to get the water temperature right.

Great people, the building is ramshackle and in need of a facelift
Ramshackle, dated and too many issues
