Royal Clifton Hotel

So I stayed at this hotel on Saturday night with our dog, we had the room number 1, the room was very large with outdoor space with a table and two chairs, so that was very nice. The room was clean and very spacious. The receptionist guy, sorry I can't remember his name, was very friendly and professional. The breakfast was good, I would say worth the price. The parking it costs £5 for 24 hours.

Unfortunately on Saturday, there was some sort of live singer and the music was very loud until like 11 pm, if I remember well, so we couldn't sleep or rest, because the noise was way to loud.

Friendly staff, clean room and great location of hotel to nearby activities..

Clean window regularly, they were dirty plus had bird poo on most of them

As we were with my sister who is 86 years old we wanted to look after her, the room she had had a brick wall in front of the window although they confirmed a sea view for her next to us. They changed the room but still no view and the room was red hot as the radiator in the room wouldn’t switch off. She had no sleep the first night for that reason, we were very Cross. We appreciate the Hotel is very old in terms of modern plumbing but that sort of heat should be sorted. Our room was the opposite no heating. asked for the towel rail to be heated and they did this but after that no hot water from the wash basin. Price wise and breakfast no complaints, however we won’t be returning.

I cant fault the hotel or the room or the bed. I just didn't get any sleep all night due to music coming from near the hotel room which was "thud thud" till 04.30 am so got no sleep at all.
