No Shower in Room, Decoration in Hotel areas (Some) a bit tired, but still perfectly acceptable.

Beautiful property and fabulous room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic, freshly cooked and efficient service. Lots of doggies although we didn’t have one it was lovely to see the dog friendly environment. It was my second choice of property as my previous one cancelled on me a few weeks before we were due to visit, going to a gig locally, however I was not disappointed it was beautifully located looking out over the Malvern Hills from the dining room. We also had a lovely lunch as we arrived a little early which was also very nice. Its always good to see local people having lunch there too! Of which there were quite a few. Definitely will visit again if we come that way again. The railway station is literally 5 mins away from the hotel which is very convenient although we didn’t use it ourselves it would be something I would consider if I didn’t want the drive.
There was not anything I can fault about the property. It was a lovely little mini break and would definitely have a longer stay there.

Pleasant staff with a lovely setting. Rooms were great and comfortable.
Dinner was of a high standard and enjoyed, although breakfast was less impressive. I believe the chef had the morning off. Overall a smart hostelry and I will recommend to anyone heading to the Malvern Hills

Everything about the hotel was perfectly adequate and it was convenient for exploring the Malvern Hills.
I think calling itself a country house hotel is misleading when it is really a village pub

Delightful hotel. It has a Jacobean feel about it. The staff were extremely welcoming of our dog and they were very good with my little boy. Beautiful views of the Malvern Hills There was a vegetarian cooked breakfast available and breakfast was included in the price of the room.We only stayed one night and I would love to go again

Nice large garden to sit in
Room far too hot and radiator would not turn off. Could not sleep and felt overcome with the heat when in our room, despite having window open all day. Radiator needs fixing to be able to control heat.

Location. It is located close to train station but you can’t hear any train noise. A charming country hotel with nice views but great accessibility to Malvern, Worcester and Ledbury. Large car park. Dog friendly. Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable bed. Facilities for cleaning boots. Breakfast options were great.
Nothing really. The rooms are not ultra modern and glitzy, they have a sort of shabby chic which I liked.

Expected more from rooms, bathroom very basic . Not romantic for couples.

Good location, friendly and helpful staff. Food was very good. Easy access to Malvern by bus or train. Lovely walking easily accessible from the hotel.

staff were super friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was lovely and the room was clean and a nice size.
Our only issue was that the bed was too soft. This was quite uncomfortable and left me with a sore back the next morning.

Great little place. Yummy breakfast, very friendly staff. Dog friendly. Really went out of the way to help with my two year old and we’re great all round.
Room was in an attic so my 6 foot 3 husbands head hit the ceiling in the shower but it wasn’t that much of a problem. Not much in the local area but easy to drive to great attractions.

Didnt realise Dogs were allowed in the hotel. It would have been nice to have been asked if we were bringing a dog then perhaps the dog bowl and bed would have been removed from the room and the room smelt of dogs. Maybe keep one room aside for visitors who do not bring dogs with them.
The location for this sort of holiday is great and besides this the Hotel is lovely.

Very small room for the money. Very noisy floors. Poor shower. Thin mattress. Poor lock on door. No night lights and switch was inconvenient.

Very comfortable. Superb bed, and bed for my dog too. Made us feel very much at home. Delicious food at breakfast and dinner and sausage for my pooch at breakfast time was most welcome. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay

the hotel is tired and needs some updating , basics such as getting seal on bath repaired , touch up

the restaurant and the staff were very helpful and friendly
my room was awful! bed was broken, very dated room. the bathroom was very old and dated, didn’t look very clean.
the last time I stayed I really liked my room. but I don’t think I’ll be staying there again after that experience

location was great and the staff were amazing and helpful. dinner was delicious and there was a lot of choice of drinks. breakfast was good value too. lovely rooms, nicely decorated
low water pressure, shower was lacking a little and flushing the loo was slow.

The hotel is perfectly situated for walking the Malvern Hills. Colwall Park has a lovely bar and restaurant serving excellent meals. The staff are helpful and friendly and care that you have a relaxing time.
Would recommend to family and friends.
The bathroom is looking a bit tired, in need of a little upgrade.

Breakfast was great with plenty of choice. Dinner was great too, with good portion and taste. The room was spacious and quite well presented.
The shower was very under pressurised and areas around bath were quite dirty. The wallpaper in bathroom was damaged around edges which didn't look very clean close up either. The sink was loose also.
