The room and parking was as I expected, and the young lady receptionist was most helpful, a nice gesture as cookies were on her desk, well appreciated after a long drive.
The cooked breakfast could have been hotter, more attention to detail needed

We had a garden room and it was very pleasant. We were attending a wedding in the town and were able to negotiate an early check in.

Good location and spacious room
The room was quite dated, the bathroom definitely needs attention.
The TV didn't work particularly well.
We walked through the bar to access our room and there was a terrible smell on both days.
Overall the hotel needs a refurbishment

Breakfast was okay. Location was ideal for the event we attended. Room were clean, although there was no hairdryer in the room and no staff on reception to ask for one when I needed it
Although the automatic checking is ideal for someone who knows how to use an automatic check whilst I was there there was a couple who arrived who wasn’t sure how to check in As there was an issue with their booking so we tried to call on the phone that’s located on the reception desk and it just ran out so this poor couple were unable to check in. The reception staff should be ready to help, but it appeared that they were not readily available when needed.
