The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very stylish, quiet and the decor was very relaxing after travelling. It was nice to have a bath instead of just a shower. Loved the lift and the lounge area.

Beautiful hotel with great attention to detail. Spacious and comfortable room. Friendly staff. Went out of their way to make our stay extra special for my fiancé’s birthday celebrations. Easy location with great walkable access to local attractions, restaurants etc.

Nice touches such as bar of chocolate Excellent hair dryer Beautiful foyer and entrance area The ethos of keeping the qualities of the building and updating only what is needed Comfortable bed Lovely art and lampshades Nice toiletries In an excellent setting for Glasgow city centre Really quiet room Lovely staff. We expressed all our issues as we left and the receptionist appreciated our comments and said as it was a new hotel there were maintenance issues to be addressed.

Feels like a work in progress. We were in the cheapest room so weren’t expecting luxuries but there was a horrible smell in the room ( maybe varnish or paint?) Window lock was broken and windows were painted shut so no ventilation Horrible old net curtain that was hanging off Room was really warm even with air con on which did not seem very effective Shower- has not been updated since whenever. Took ages to get any hot water and even then it was either scalding or cold. If you’ve got gorgeous toiletries and an amazing hairdryer you need a good shower Lovely welcome card explaining about complimentary chocolate and vermouth, but there was no vermouth! I think this could be an amazing hotel, but it feels like it was opened before all snagging had been completed.
