Quiet location and grounds Food choices were good

Music in bar area was a mixture from two different sources so was irritating to listen to

Beds were comfy, nice room Although very dusty and had cobwebs all over I know it’s spider season but the windows/ and ceilings were full of spiders webs in the bedroom

The “spa” no jacuzzi as was broken. Steam room wasn’t on, 2 other rooms think was meant to be steam/ ice rooms was also off and 1 of the saunas was not working. The thermal shower wasn’t working either so was very disappointed to be honest. Small pool which wasn’t warm and 1 sauna working that was it. Gym looked ok for a hotel gym and had most equipment needed for a work out. The bar food. Was very busy on a Friday evening with different party’s and the bar was very full but we ordered food (party of 5) We had 2 pizzas some loads fries x2 chicken strips and pork belly bites. Asked if could all to be brought out together. We received the chicken strips and pork belly bites was told the pizzas and the rest would be 15mins as it wasn’t communicated to the kitchen we wanted all together that was fine we would enjoy these and then have the pizza and fries when arrived, 15mins went by, 30mins went by still no food after around 1 hour of waiting the pizzas turned up but still no loaded fries this was maybe 1.5 hours after ordering and after asking a few times the bar staff admitted they had lost the check and would ask the kitchen to see if they could make them, it was just shambles wouldn’t recommend eating in the bar. Wasn’t just our table of 5 there were another party that asked for full refund for the food as none of there food had turned up after more than 2 hours of waiting. You know you have a full hotel so why not put on extra staff to help?
