I had a lovely warm room, nice bathroom , excellent parking at the hotel.. The evening meal was beautiful.. Good choice of breakfast,not the usual, no cereal fruit etc but a good choice of cooked food...

There were several doors closing etc and walking around the corridor late at night that cant be helped.... Drinks are rather expensive , especially a glass of wine, but it was very nice .

Great overall atmosphere: incredible food, friendly staff, and cozy rooms and restaurant. I highly recommend the Fleece and would come back in a heartbeat!

it was great that there were sufficient rooms and and dining space for our large group

we had a 7pm booking,a large party, and were informed just before 9pm,still with food to finish that the bar was closing at 9pm. no prior warning, no explanation most of us were also hotel guests. i don’t think this was appropriate. breakfast was cold and some of the food items looked like they had seen better days

we liked the pub, and where it was situated

we had an apartment in the annex, room 2, this is quite a safe area, but the lock on the outside door leading to the room was broken, we would have felt a lot safer if we could have locked this at night, and when going out

We couldn't open the windows in room 8, they appeared to be nailed shut, and as a result the room was too warm and stuffy. Our friends in room 6 had a much nicer experience.

We waited a long time for breakfast and weren't offered orange juice, butter, more tea, etc.

My room was super with a king size bed plus I loved the bathroom. Comfortable bed. We ate in the restaurant and the food was great. The breakfast was excellent. The location was just right to the shops, banks and more restaurants. What a pretty village green, loved it.

I really can't think of anything. Perhaps check on the coffee, tea making supplies, that's about it.

The lock in the door was very difficult to get into with the key.

Location and how clean the rooms were.

Stayed in the cosy double, this had verlux windows on a high ceiling, unfortunately one of the blinds were already broken and left open, the other three which were closed didn't do anything to block out light... so a relaxing night away, we were actually up from 7am with how bright the room was :( recommend letting guests know. On the evening, had a cocktail in bar, disappointed that the martini didn't actually fill the glass only 3/4s... I mentioned this when purchasing and the bar staff didn't really understand my point. However, they reshook the cocktail. Just a little bit disappointing when cocktails are already expensive for the measurements to not actually make a full martini.
