Top Lage, nahe der U-Bahn, sehr direkt gelegen, sehr gutes Frühstück

I like the location of the hotel as it was an easy stroll from the metro. Beautiful spread of breakfast. We checked in early and the reception was kind enough to give us a bigger room. It had a beautiful coutryard where we enjoyed our drinks. It had massive 80's style curtains and hotel looked beautiful.

I felt the hotel room were a bit old and needed modernation. The shower was spraying water in all directions, causing water to flood outside the bath. It didn't have a shower curtain or glass shower screen 10 Euros per person per night felt a bit too much of the city tax for this location. A random transaction of 164 euros was done on our card and we had to clarify with the reception where the receptionist clarified it was meant for their safety if we had something from the minibar etc which was not pleasant.

Frankly everything: 1. For the same room type we got a significantly smaller room. We had asked for a room with 2 beds and they gave us one with 1 then we switched and the other room was half the size yet we still paid the same amount. I'd have like to see them reduce our room rate then or at least advise that the room is significantly smaller. 2. The shower drain was clogged really badly. They sent someone that night but he could not do much. 3. After fixing the shower drain they did not clean it so we came back to a dirty shower 4. Breakfast was subpar but most annoying is that whilst breakfast ends at 10.30 they start clearing at 10.15 and the amount of things available to you is significantly less when you arrive at 10.15. 5. The concept of giving the key back every time you go out is frankly archaic especially in a modern city like Milan. 6. Staff communication could do with some improvements
