Centrally placed.
Room was very clean and bed very comfortable.
All facilities were in the room and fresh milk a lovely touch.
Breakfast was good, did not eat an evening meal but food on other people’s tables looked very good.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Would definitely stay again.
No where to hang your towel when taking a shower.
The bathroom was very large and had to walk the length of the bathroom to get bath towel whilst dripping wet. A hook on the back of the bathroom door would make a big difference.
This was our only fault.

Great location, nice period property
Communal staircase from dining room was pretty tired and needs redecorating. Bathroom needs new silicone around bath.

Comfortable and spacious room, and really quiet despite the central location. Fabulous breakfast the next day too, and certainly value for money as a last minute booking. Would highly recommend!

It was exceptional, historical and exactly what we was looking for. Architecture is a passion of ours and this lived up to it all. Dyson fan in the room was a great addition, as well as eye masks. It was quiet and very clean and comfortable
We would have given top scores. We was so taken aback by the cold welcome we got from the manager, that we was going to go home immediately. We spent a lot of money on our room, and had booked a roast for the Sunday. We cancelled it as we was both upset. We did stay and the other staff were delightful and we loved the gorgeous well cooked breakfasts.
