Hotel Vouga

Adorámos o acesso ilimitado ao spa, nunca tinha mais que 1 ou 2 pessoas no espaço. Os funcionários são muito simpáticos e acessíveis mesmo quando voltámos de madrugada. A vista do rio vale MUITO a pena!

O pequeno almoço tem pouca variedade de comida, mas é suficiente para poucos dias (comemos sempre o mesmo). Apenas uma máquina de café e bebidas quentes, o que provocava sempre fila. Deviam alargar o horário do pequeno almoço (acabava às 10h).

Um pouco às cegas reservámos uma suite de grandes dimensões... com uma casa de banho à mesma escala. Logo, só por aí, excedeu muito as nossas espectativas. Seria talvez o melhor quarto do hotel com vista muito boa para o rio e para a vila. Trata-se de um bom hotel onde volatremos concerteza.

Só uma coisa insignificante: o wifi não chegava ao enorme terraço

Very nice rooms, with a good breakfast. Beautiful location. plenty of parking. Thank You, I would stay again. We bought bikes for the nearby cycle trail, which was enjoyable.

Certain aspects of the hotel, for example, the pool area with broken tiles could do with some maintenance, but it wasn't enough to distract from the good things.

Nice lobby interior.

The outdoor area was poorly maintained and clearly not ready for guests, despite it being warm and sunny in May. The swimming pool was dirty and cold, with broken tiles and very few loungers available. There were also no umbrellas, making it impossible to relax comfortably by the pool. The whole area felt neglected and unprepared for the season. The room was also disappointing. The pillows were huge, synthetic, and extremely uncomfortable. The bedding, including the sheets and blanket, was of very low quality. The bathroom was in poor condition, with visible mold in the grout between the shower tiles. It badly needed a thorough cleaning and full renovation. To make matters worse, the hotel handled my booking unfairly. I had reserved a double room, but when I arrived, I informed the staff that my friend was unable to come. Based on their reaction, I assumed they would adjust the rate or at least be understanding. However, they still charged me the full amount — including breakfast for two, even though my friend never stayed and couldn’t use it.
