All.
Location is very busy now. But if you want to relax without going out of the resort, it’s very good. The room I had was rather far from the road nearby that can be noisy. But it was fine. The cock was the most noisy part. Management by Plataran is a guaranty of comfort.
Water of swimming pool can be more clear.
The main swimming pool, close to ancient breakfast place was not maintained

Setting of the room. Privacy. Surface. Very nice Indonesian style. Very well kept
The noise of road, not that far, but it’s always been like this. The villa we got was far from street and it was ok.

The privacy in the villa, the staff were very helpful I had a frog get into the room and they came to quickly help me move it to its natural habitat. They were very responsive on requests.
They need to update the menu, had limited options and some items ordered were not available though it was good we could order from grab at any time.

Here’s a shorter, natural-sounding review:
We had a lovely stay at Villa Canggu by Plataran. The staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and accommodating, especially when they helped us change our booking due to unexpected flight delays. The property is lush, peaceful, and full of Balinese charm, with spacious villas and beautiful open-air bathrooms. A perfect place to relax, with hospitality that truly stands out.
While the property has a beautiful old-world Balinese charm, it may not be everyone’s cup of tea if you’re looking for a modern luxury stay. Since the villas are very open to nature, insects and the occasional rodent are difficult to avoid. The rooms could also benefit from better upkeep, fresher linens, and improved cleanliness, particularly around the private pool and outdoor areas. With a little more attention to maintenance, the overall experience would be even better.
