S31 Sukhumvit Hotel

The location is excellent

My room wasn’t quite to standard I’d expect.. I thought the bathroom needed a refurbishment … in particular the bathroom shower looked aged

The hotel were good> Very impress with the staff on duty. Very accommodating. However i am quite disappointed with the first night. I book standard room, never know that this standard room is small and is facing the BTS, so noise until mid night and back again early in the morning. The worse part is the shower water is like ice water, no warm water at all. Despite I complain to front desk and they promised to rectify, the same when I return to room after mid night. The front desk is kind enough to change me to premier room with free upgrade the next day, too bad, I was given a room at 12 floor where lift access can only reach 11 floor. I have to climb a very narrow stair case to access the 12 floor. The stair case looks like narrow and in round shape, seems is a emergency exist more than normal stair case. I refuse that considering my age, high risk to climb that unsafe stair case. I am glad that the front desk staff accept my refusal and again they change to another room at 11 floor. This is partially bad experience that I have with this hotel, change twice room.

The Breakfast spread was more focused on Far East Nationals The Room booked was not allotted but a similar alternative was done even though the same type was available
