Excellent venue and location. Lots of stairs to get to rooms as no lift but it wasn’t too bad.

A latte at breakfast would have been nice especially as it was £15 for breakfast

9 / 10Herausragend·Sept. 2026

The location was out of this world. Plenty of areas to walk and close to the town. The atmosphere of this hotel was stunning.

I am afraid the meals all had added alcohol and cream. So could not dine there every day. The Sunday roast was plentiful.

8 / 10Ausgezeichnet·Sept. 2026

Great location, very clean. Lovely view from window. Friendly staff. Coffee machine in room was good. The breakfast food was nice and tasty.

The coffee at breakfast was dreadful, basically undrinkable. Other tables were not happy with it either. Maybe introduce French press of other coffee choices.

5 / 10·Sept. 2026

Location was pretty.

Smell of old cooking oil from kitchens pervaded the whole place. Room was in an annex, very narrow two flights of stairs to lug suitcase up. Wasn’t told of this and no help offered. Window wouldn’t stay open so had to prop with metal tissue box. NO HANDLES IN BATHROOM TO GET OUT OF SHOWER. Shower door leaked all over the bathroom floor. Treacherous all round.
