A good budget option for a quick overnight stay with everything you need in the room. Location coming into Taupo from the south is handy and it has free, safe parking. There is a heater and a fan and somewhere to hang up your clothes. Shower pressure was good. Basic kitchen with microwave and toaster. Helpful, friendly staff.
The pillows are uncomfortable and there were only two of them so no options.. There is no shampoo in the shower, just an all-in-one body wash. No dishcloth else we would have done the dishes.

the bed was really comfortable. It was a bonus to have the pool. Topped it up each night and ended up having a good night sleet.

Very good value, convenient location for the lake, comfortable and clean, with good facilities in the room - kettle microwave, fridge etc.
The only negative, in our room, was a temperamental TV. Staying for 1 night only, I didn't bother with what seemed to need an IT expert to connect to channels.

The location and the parking. We arrived late but instructions to retrieve key were excellent.
No aircon, the room smelt musty, condensation was terrible, windows were very wet in the morning. The power points were a bit dodgy, could easily be electrocuted.
