Ibis Hotel Alicante

Nice plase

Very nice

Was good location to airport

The lady on the reception was so rude and unwelcoming as my guest didn’t have their passport. However, she refused to let me the person who booked the room and with a passport check in. Resulting in me having to travel with my partner two hours to another part of Spain to retrieve their passport. I had been travelling 9 hours already. Fair enough they needed to show their passport but they could have let me the actual person who booked it in whilst the other guest went to retrieve their passport. Her attitude was so rude and unwelcoming I dreaded returning there with her attitude. She could do with some customer service training with how to speak to guest in a more polite and professional way and not like a security guard if a club. The lady who was there when we checked out was complete opposite very smiley and friendly. Didn’t have any interaction with any other staff as felt uncomfortable being around there due to first woman we dealt with.

Hotel was clean, staff were friendly and welcoming Room was spacious enough Breakfast buffet was value for money

Evening food option wasn’t great, and the burger and wedges I had was quite greasy, although it was tasty

Location to airport, served a purpose

Price of room didn't match my expectation
