Echelon Apartments Yeppoon

The apartment is much larger than expected, clean, and is stocked with everything you need for a long, comfortable stay. I was travelling for an event and booked it for the location. I definitely got that with the beach across the road! Check-in and check-out is easy.

The shower in the main room was fiddly and didn't receive anything other than luke-warm water after a lot of maneuvering of the mixer, which isn't ideal during cold, wet weather. Some ants also appeared on the bed in the main bedroom and bathroom (probably from the rain), and the main outer gate is bent so it has to be locked and unlocked to keep it closed. Being a multiday stay in what was advertised as 4.5 stars, I expected it to be cleaned daily and fresh towels, but it was only cleaned prior to check in. My adult son and I stayed for 3 nights.

Room 110 in which we stayed had light streaming in from the main sign out the front and lights throughout the building during our stay. I understand the need for security lighting in the main walkways but this could literally be changed to sensor lighting after say 10pm in front of rooms and the main advertising sign at the rear could be switched off completely at the same time. There was also a leaf blower used to clean up around common areas most mornings around 7:30 which was annoying! And then the rear entrance area just below our balcony was hosed down one morning starting around 6:30 in the morning! We appreciate that there’s commercial businesses operating from The building and clean up is required however why can’t this be completed in the evening at 5-6pm at the rear.
