The room is fairly basic but comfortable enough of a pattern familiar in ski resorts. We had half board and so ate in the hotel restaurant. Although we shared the dining room with a coach trip, and so very busy, the staff coped splendidly. Dinner includes a generous cheese board.

The menu for dinner is limited but that didn't matter because it was very good and very pleasantly served by very nice staff. Included an 'eat as much as you want' cheese board.

The massif de Puy itself is a gem, if you are looking for outdoor activities. Gergovia is just like bringing your home to the middle of the place you are amazed of being in. Of course if you like outdoors.... If you are looking for a fancy place with people wearing yellow smiles, Gergovia is not your place....,Now if you are looking for a place where you feel home being away from home , thats the place.to be in Super-Besse. It was extremely clean. Covid Measures were take to extreme, I was really amazed of how much they took the measures so serious. Kindness and going the extra mile to make a guest feel home are unimaginable.... THE GOLDEN STAR GOES TO GAILLE whom was my guardian angel while I was there. All in all, superb stay. If I will come back? Sure I will, hopefully with my wife whom is separated from myself due to the covid19 crisis.

The staff couldn’t do enough for you and the Christmas Eve meal was superb!
