Surprisingly large room, well appointed and large enduite

Its pretty dark.around the block where pets are allowed. Could do with a bit more lighting, especially for winter nights

rooms a good size & furniture is OK except the bed is almost un sleep able for my back Cooked breakfast for $15.00 each was great.

Bed was way too firm & doesn't conform to a deep back curve

the receptionists Maria, Evon and Kerry were fantastic. room was so beautiful and clean

the restaurant back door was straight across from my room and the chef would come out smoking and spitting on the ground the wipe his mouth on his hand and clean his hand on his shirt. I spoke with the manager about this and he completely ignored me. so I checked out a day earlier

We were very happy with staff and room.

As I don’t like sitting on the lounge when eating, perhaps a 2nd chair would be nice, but I’m not complaining.

There was no tissue paper or paper towel to wipe the table even one that can be washed.

The chairs to sit on while having lunch, breakfast was not comfortable. The table is quite high for the chairs.

Golf Place Inn is a gem of a find! The room was large, exceptionally clean, with wonderful views of the golf course. The beds were very comfortable with lovely crisp linen. The bath towels were so soft and luxurious and the shower had great pressure. Netflix on a large TV, supplies in the mini kitchen and a full cooked breakfast were all an unexpected bonus. The staff were wonderful, arranging a late check in for us and leaving the lights on for our arrival. We will be booking lots more stays.

Everything was great!

After reading previous reviews I was a bit nervous but we had a wonderful stay. The rooms were clean, updated and there was Netflix and air conditioning. The pool has been cleaned and I had a lovely swim. Free buffet breakfast was great. The owners are making huge efforts to update and make changes.

Convenience to train station to Sydney.

? Smoke detector was disconnected. Spotlight curtains let morning light in, no hot water to bathroom sink.

Having stayed at Golf Place many times over the years due to its proximity to my elderly parents, I was very pleased with the positive changes under new management. The staff are all very positive and helpful, with a friendly vibe - this is in turn reflected in the excellent standard of cleanliness and facilities maintenance. Excellent value for money and a pleasure to stay there.

The facilities are in need of an upgrade, and I note work is slowly underway.
