The breakfast was excellent, well cooked and presented. I had a very good nights sleep and felt very welcome when I booked in to the hotel. The building is full of character which makes a very welcome change to the larger group hotels that I stay in at times. I will definitely come back in the future and would recommend it ahead of the Premier Inn Hotels in Hereford for example.

Aylestone Court is like staying in a history book, the history of the place oozes from every corner. Jon the owner is doing it up room by room. It looks like a huge undertaking but he’s getting there. I felt like I’d fallen from the pages of Jane Austin novel and was just missing my empire line gown! 😁
If I were to make any suggestions, it would be little things like cleaning the windows, or purchasing higher end toiletries. Opening the bar slightly later and replacing some of the squeaky stairs. I think more could be made of its history, maybe produce a pamphlet or have a book made for reception?

Lovely welcoming and helpful owner and staff. The building has lots of character and is well maintained. Full English breakfast included in the price (including a plant based option).

Breakfast
The property itself has no doubt seen better days with some work required and the room was scruffy and in need of a refurb. Couldn't sleep a wink because of the noise from traffic on the main road. Not a fan of duvet's either, way too hot in the summer.
