YHA Snowdon Pen-y-Pass

Brilliant location Friendly and helpful staff Comfortable rooms

The YHA Pen-y-Pass location is great to pan out from, to the trails around Snowden or above the hostel to the Glyders. It was convenient having the option to order food as saved going around to the communal kitchens. The bunk lights were also very handy. The extremely efficient drying room was a real bonus and there is plenty of space too baring in mind all the people staying at the hostel - never a problem finding somewhere to hang clothes. The staff were lovely, so helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. There are printed OS map leaflets of the trails which were really useful and covered all the main three routes in that area. The option to rent a towel for the days I was there too was handy as I didn't then have to carry my own - all very clean as was the room. There is a great bus service too, conveniently right outside across the road.

Perfect location, great staff and had everything you could possibly need

Only complaint is that you can’t connect to the WiFi but everything else was perfect and blew my expectations away

It was on the doorstep for the walk up snowdon
