Everything! The service, the food, the atmosphere, and of course the private onsens were all phenomenal. This was our second time staying at the Kashiwaya Ryokan, and it was just as magical as the last time! Additionally they have clearly made steps to accomodate english speaking guests, which was greatly appreciated.
That we had to leave so soon! We wish our stay could have been longer.

We have visited this ryokan several times and enjoy it very much. The food is good and the private onsen are nice. It's nice being close to the river.
In the past, we were served dinner in our room, but that did not happen this time. One of the reasons we chose to go to this ryokan was because we thought we could eat dinner in private. We did not want to eat in the dining area with other guests due to the risk of COVID-19.
