Charisma De Luxe Hotel

Lovely decor and great facilities.

Just my bed frame had a yellow stain on it. Needs a new one

This is a large hotel right on the water with lots of facilities. The spa and gym are very good and the buffet breakfast and dinners had a wide variety of food which was beautifully presented and delicious.

As this hotel caters to large groups of travellers it would be better to have more staff on reception in the morning when people are checking out. The morning we checked out there was only one staff member on reception and a large group checking out before us.

We have only great memories of our stay at the Charisma Hotel. The hotel is very well located, right by the sea, with an excellent pool area and a beautiful seaside deck where you can relax and enjoy the water. For guests traveling by car, the hotel offers complimentary valet parking, which was very convenient for us. The reception staff were exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and given all the information we needed about the hotel and its facilities. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. I also asked if an upgrade would be possible, and the hotel very kindly upgraded our room at no additional cost, even though we were staying during the high season. We really appreciated this gesture and the excellent service we received throughout our stay.

The only point to keep in mind is that this is a very large hotel, so there can be quite a lot of guests, especially during the high season. If you are looking for a very quiet and intimate atmosphere, you should be prepared for a busier environment. For us, however, this did not take away from the overall quality of our stay.

Renovations were taking place so no lobby area to sit. Very nosiy and dusty and woke up each day by drilling and hammering etc. Indoor pool was closed for most of out stay (opened last day), we booked winter so specifically filtered our search for an indoor pool. Neither the hotel or booking.com told us any of this and one blamed the other. It was expensive as it was never mind with all this, not happy and unfortunately this has put us off
