Number Four at Stow - FULLY AIR CONDITIONED

From arrival, all members of staff we superb, helpful, friendly. Breakfast was great, good choice and very tasty. Our room was very comfortable, coffee and tea in the room, bathroom very nice, large bath and shower, kids room and ours were very nice. It was great for us

We loved the rooms. They were spacious and modern. Beautiful shower and bath tub. The staff was very kind and accommodating. The breakfast was generous and tasty. All around, it was a wonderful place to stay for four lovely days.

There was only a rain shower and nothing to cover the head if one didn’t want to wet it. But staff provided a shower cap when asked.

great location for the wedding venue down the road -(walkable) . Lovely staff, especially the Scottish lady at breakfast. good breakfast choices and quality. Nice garden area for coffee .

Three of us in the room - towels, mugs, glasses only supplied for 2 people. Not enough bottled water for 3 people. very thin cover on sofa bed - my daughter was cold. Very noisy - doors banging late into the night/ early morning and right next to busy road, traffic noise not blocked out by velux windows . I have stayed in other hotels of this brand in Bath and in York - which were far more quirky and with more of a boutique feel. this one seemed to have a puzzle you could do in the bar - thats all . very expensive for what it was. guess thats the price you pay for location.
