Hotel Por Santa Maria

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Por Santa Maria. The location truly cannot be beat — right in the heart of Florence, with everything within easy walking distance. Our room was small but very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We especially enjoyed our view overlooking the famous Porcellino boar. Despite being right in the middle of the city and surrounded by all the activity, the room was surprisingly quiet at night, which made for a very comfortable stay. Check-in was seamless, the instructions were clear and easy to follow, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and would absolutely stay again on our next visit to Florence.

It is right in the middle of Florence so it can be noisy with people outside, but the windows absorb a lot of it. The location is massively convenient though!

Perfect city location. Bijou; only a handful of guest rooms. Run by a friendly couple who are really helpful with any info you need.

I like being close to everything and the staff was friendly.

It was supposed to have a private bathroom. What it had was a shower and sink right in the bedroom and a toilet down the hall. The bed was actually two twin beds, which separated quite a bit during the night.
