The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The woman at reception patiently helped us get the TV and WiFi working properly. We had a satisfying 3 night stay.
The fridge was small, as they often are. There were only 2 small saucepans to cook in, but a frypan was provided when we asked for one.

Lots of space the rooms were large with a full kitchenette (including stove - although we didn't use it) and well appointed and clean. Loved the large wet room/bathroom and the warmth of the rooms. For a studio unit it was exceptional. Kathy, the owner/manager was very knowledgeable and helped us out with directions and the Whale Watch location/itineraries. She even phoned us a taxi so we didn't have to carry our luggage to the bus depot when departing and securely stored our luggage after check out for most of the day until we had to report to the bus depot. Thanks Kathy!
The google map from the bus stop to the motel didn't advise that the 300 metre walking distance was mostly up a steep hill (with luggage) over uneven terrain which almost ruined our stay before we even arrived. Suggest you catch a local taxi from bus depot to the motel unless you are young and fit or have minimal luggage. Other than that we had a great stay and enjoyed the less steep walking pavement using an alternative route to/from town and the Whale Watch.

Noisy due to being on the main highway. Not as close to town as some other properties.
