Gokulam Grand Turtle On The Beach

Breakfast was exceptionally good. There is no direct access to beach but you have to go out of the property and travel through common road to beach. Room was good and more than sufficient for the family of 2. The room was pool and sea facing with spacious balcony and private seating. The infinity pool was superb and best place to chill during day time.

AC controls were not working. There so no method to control or switch off the AC. It became deadly chill particularly during the night. AC technician tried to solve the problem but couldn't do anything.

Everything was just fine.

However some of the waiters in the Restaurant Katamaran could have washed their faces and combed their hair properly.

Warm welcome, clean rooms, clean pool, evening complimentary tea and snacks and the activity room on the 5 th floor, facilities and other amenities

Very less options for breakfast, water leakage was there on the roof near to the lift on the 4 th floor, felt that the statue near to the lift on the fourth floor was inappropriate in a place where children too come to stay, on the day of check out, we were waiting inside the room for someone to come and pick up our luggage and i heard the bell ring. I got up from bed and went to open the door, but the housekeeping staff opened the door from outside using their card. She just barged in without asking to check whether we used any items from the minibar. Either thy should have asked for permission or they should have done it after we went to the lobby. This act was not appropriate from their part. Never expected something like those from such a grand hotel.

We had issues with no hot water and the safe and the front door , after they couldn’t resolve issues we were given another room
