Townsman Motor Lodge

We booked the one bedroom apartment and it was wonderful! So nice to have a bit of space (after being on the road for nearly two weeks). The room was spacious, and I particularly liked the blockout curtains in the bedroom, and the air freshener in the bathroom was a nice touch. Free parking is always appreciated, and the location was fantastic - Woolworths and a MetroMart petrol station across the road, and a short walk to the shopping centre and eateries - make sure you try "Fat B@st@rds Pies" on the other side of Woolies - delicious 😋 Staff were wonderful, and we will definitely stay here on our next visit to NZ

Modern, clean and tidy with everything you need.

On a busy road so some road noise but nothing that would stop me staying there again.

The location was perfect for us, I walked to the Aquatic centre, supermarkets just across the road too. We were travelling with a friend so it was great to have a 2 bedroom option but have a single bed in the main area as well. The kitchen was small but had everything we needed, very happy about that.

like the location

did not like the fact that the room was freezing and the heating turned off during the night the bed was very hard
