The room was very clean, bright and fresh. The bed was comfortable, the A/C worked well and the room was quiet. The breakfast was the best of the entire trip. A very good buffet with attentive staff. The front desk was also very helpful and kind. The location was great. It was a short 10 minute walk from the train station with only a short staircase to the front desk. As a side note, we cruised the other 'newer' side of Monterosso, and I am glad we chose to stay on this side of town. It was much more quaint with lots more charm. I would stay here again.

While the room was very nice, it was very small with barely anywhere to lay a suitcase. Also, the bathroom, and in particular the shower, was very compact. Not a deal breaker. It was manageable as I know this is not unusual for Italy.

The gardens on the roof are magnificent. Definitely check them out when you stay

Bed was a bit firm -- but seems this is how all Italian beds seem to be so far! *We stayed in 4 different places & all were hard beds, this one a wee bit softer.
