Das Zimmer war im 27. Stock mit Flussblick und Zugang zum Club. Hier konnte man frühstücken und fast den ganzen Tag Erfrischungen bekommen. Abend gab es Cocktails und ein leckeres Buffet mit Kleinigkeiten. Es gibt zwei schöne Swimmingpools und auch Handtücher am Pool. Es gibt Steckdosen in Bettnähe und eine gute Ausstattung des Badezimmers.Das Hotel stellt alle halbe Stunde ein Hotel Shuttle Boot zur Verfügung.

Es wäre schön gewesen, wenn die Rezeptionen uns einen Plan der Flussboote und und des Skytrain hätte zur Verfügung stellen können. Ansonsten haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Mein Lieblingshotel in Bangkok seit über 20 Jahren. Super Lage direkt am Fluß (Chao Praya Express Boat Haltestelle vor der Haustür). Streetfood vor der Haustür. Wunderschöner Pool in einem Garten mit altem Baumbestand und Swim-in Pool Bar. River City Center (Shopping, kleine Restaurans, Ablegestelle für Dinner Cruises) nebenan. ICON Siam gegenüber. Freundliches Personal.

Das Zimmer könnte eine gründliche Reinigung vertragen, war aber ok.

We have been travelling to Bangkok for the last 25 years and one of the first hotels we chose for accommodation was the Royal Orchid Sheraton because of its proximity to the river, its facilities and its reputation as one of the best hotels in the city. We have stayed here about 20 times since and returned this time for the same reasons. We travel extensively and this is probably our favourite hotel in the world. It’s like coming back home. The comfort factor, the fabulous staff, the beautiful pools, gym and restaurants make the standard for the price hard to beat. We had the great pleasure of meeting David Lance the General Manager and Marco the Executive Chef on this visit and we were able to give them some very positive feedback about the great service we had experienced. Thank you Royal Orchid Sheraton. You never disappoint us and we can’t wait to visit again.
