Isokenkäisten Klubi - Wilderness Lodge

Our stay at this beautiful wilderness resort was truly magical, surrounded by breathtaking autumunal scenery, peaceful forests,the stunning lake just makes this location priceless . The hospitality (Katja) , and attention to detail were exceptional, the lodge being handcrafted and traditionally decorated along with the friendly owners made us feel incredibly welcome and cared for throughout our stay. The breakfast was outstanding and catered to our dietary needs . It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we will treasure forever and would wholeheartedly recommend to any fellow travelers .

Only accessible by car . No public transport and uber only by prior arrangement and very expensive .

everything was AMAZING! we all really loved the place and our stay. Katja was so very helpful, in the run up to our arrival and once we were there. We booked a sauna experience and dinner for our last night and both were fantastic. we were made to feel so welcome.

a self catering option for the twim rooms would be good for longer stays. and a slightly bigger fridge!

Unique location, beautiful nature and wonderful hospitality! Katja and Sirpa and their team were fantastic and took great care of us! Fantastic and authentic homemade food! Must try the smoke sauna, it was exceptional. We loved the snowshoeing activity and the snowmobile trip. Really a wonderful place to visit! Also, we were super lucky and experienced an incredible Aurora Borealis show!
