Hotel Maison Saint Jean

Really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is very cozy, with a lovely Alpine wooden interior and a warm atmosphere. My room was spacious, comfortable and had everything I needed. The breakfast was excellent! I especially loved the scrambled eggs with bacon – honestly, some of the best scrambled eggs I’ve had in a hotel. The texture was perfect and they tasted amazing. 🙂

The only very minor thing was that the pillow was a little too firm for me, but that’s really just personal preference.

Centrally located in Courmayeur. The hotel restaurant has good food! Breakfast was great and has variety of selections! The staff responded quickly to my questions!

There was construction right next door. Also, really close to some apartments. There is no privacy, you literally look into other people apartments.

A beautiful hotel. Tasteful and warm. Good breakfast and all staff were helpful and polite. I was travelling solo and all went out of their way to make me feel “at home” I also appreciated having 24h check in and check out at 11am which allowed me to appreciate the stay more. The highlight for me was the view of the whole Mont Blanc range from my bed. Stunning.

Clearly not their fault but the hotel is a surrounded by construction sites. This was September (low season and typically a time when these things happen) and it can be noisy in the morning so particularly if you are sleeping with your windows open you’re unlikely to be able to have a lay in

Location. Friendly helpful barman. Cleaning staff.

Chair in room described as an armchair. Was anything but. Daughter's room tiny. Shower did not have a cubicle, she had to pull down some screens like curtain blinds to use it. Some of the staff very unfriendly but manner changed dramatically at breakfast on the last day. Expecting a tip? Booked a meal in the restaurant for our last night. Woman in charge seemed to be changing the table we were to be given. Shoved into an out of the way table in an alcove away from the main parts of the restaurant. Bar didn't open until 6pm, no apres ski.
