It’s located in the center surrounded by shopping and dining areas.
Charge for bottle water! Other hotels at Fukuoka and Beppu are unlimited and free. The ac not cold enough, it’s old style and the bathroom is old, too.

Great location and nice room size compared to many other hotels in Japan. We could see the castle from our window, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends and would definitely stay here again if I have the opportunity to visit Kumamoto in the future.

"Das Hotel ist optimal in der Stadtmitte gelegen. Die Zimmer sind schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber völlig in Ordnung. Das Frühstück war auf den asiatischen Geschmack ausgelegt."
