We loved the location and the building itself due to it’s history. The accommodation was comfortable and the staff were very friendly, professional and accommodating. The food was excellent.

Suited our needs and was close to our event, burgers were really special, good selection of beer

There was no air conditioning and the bar area had an odour of wet dog, I have allergies, plenty of parking

Good parking on site. Restaurant and bar inhouse. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Bathroom (shower only) very small but adequate.

Room very small with small windows which only partially open. No minibar or fridge and very limited space - no wardrobe, just open coat hanger area. Stairs to bedroom fairly steep, can be difficult for elderly. Breakfast ("Brunch" per the menu) limited menu with items priced individually - no fixed price for meal. The Five Bells is apparently part of "Village Inns" association - many members in this area, all with very similar menus and pricing - not the most variety, although quality acceptable. We were expected to pay in full on arrival although staying for 2 nights.
