The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and private. Parking is close to the main door. Having a restaurant on site is really helpful, because there are limited eateries open in Martinborough at the beginning of the week, which is when we stayed. A laundry is available on site, not in the room, which is helpful, but we did not use it. For a small resort, the buffet breakfast, which is included in the room tariff, was really good. There was an option to order a cooked breakfast for an extra cost too. I would happily stay here again.
I would like to suggest to the restaurant that they consider replacing their dining room cutlery. Whilst it looks nice, it was not very user friendly. The handles are difficult to hold. However, it is not a deal breaker.

We were extremely happy with the size of the room and the facilities in the room. Especially the hot tub. The shower pressure was excellent. The continental breakfast was a good addition as well. The location across the road from a winery proved very handy, and with an easy 15 minute walk in to town we thought the location was great.
The service in the bar in happy hour was non existent. But apart from that the staff were all really wonderful. We would definitely stay again.

The room was a great size and nice layout. The hot tub was fantastic. The breakfast was basic but good. We had dinner one night and it was delicious. Nice wines at happy hour. The staff were excellent, caring and attentive.
The room wasn’t super clean and had some couch stains and things that needed a bit more focus. Some furniture around the property was a bit tired.

The winemakers cottage is great accomodation
It was very cold and the gas heater turns itself off after an hour. The breakfast area is not suitable for the large number of people trying to make toast, take cereal, make coffee - buffet area should be much bigger
