The host met us at the apartment, which was helpful. She was friendly and welcoming. The apartment has a large private terrace. It's located in an upscale neighborhood with plenty of cafes and shops nearby.

It was difficult to get clear information on an early check in. In the end, we had to pay an additional 50 Euros to check in early, even though the apartment was ready. This was an unexpected and high cost to simply access the apartment. Also, they require a 400 Euro damage deposit, which is relatively high. It's important to know that the lift is very small (but very elegant!) and our apartment was located one floor above the last elevator stop, requiring a walk up a flight of stairs. This could be difficult for anyone with mobility issues or heavy luggage.

No maid service

Quartprimera arranged for a taxi to bring us to the property. Our driver called the property manager to let her know we had arrived and helped us into the elevator. We arrived early, so our apartment was not ready, but we were able to store our luggage in the office and go out for lunch. Our apartment was ready by the time we finished lunch and the property manager called to let us know we could move in. Quartprimera is a beautiful, well-maintained older building and is ideally located. Great beds, kitchen and terraces, lots of space for our family of 4. The view of the Casa Mila rooftop chimneys was incredible. Our son loved the tiny elevator and daughter climbed the beautiful stone staircase. So much better than staying in a hotel - we had all of the conveniences of home at Quartprimera.

Great location, very helpful hosts, enough room for a family of 5, and amenities that met our needs.

Wish there was a dryer with the washer and more supplies like additional toilet paper and toiletries.

The location and facilities are perfect.

The parking problem is not related to this apartment.

Some basic amenities were initially not provided. E.g chopping board, extra toilet rolls, jug for water or making drinks. But all this was easily taken care of by the excellent management company person. What we really did not like was that the pictures on the site are misleading. One bedroom has built-in bathroom but the person from other bedroom has to walk to the extreme end of the property to use the bathroom. Very inconvenient.

The 120 year old lift to the apartment is amazing. It's like a tiny railway carriage being hoisted up and down. An experience in itself.

The decor is a little spartan. A few pictures would cheer it up a lot.
