Great stay for the price! Very basic hotel, a step up from a hostel, but everything I needed for the trip. If you're looking for a hotel with shampoo/conditioner included, a hairdryer, or more than a barebones stay, this is not the hotel for you, and I think some reviewers had different expectations. The breakfast was pretty typical for the area - coffee/tea, juices, bread bar and toaster, meats + cheese, yogurt. The view from the back was absolutely amazing. Also free access to the indoor swimming pool and whirlpool nearby.

The biggest knock is that the bed was rather uncomfortable and the pillow was completely flat. Maybe you could ask for a second pillow.

Hard-working and friendly staff. Simple and comfortable lodging. Clean. Large and very good breakfasts. Sports-minded environment that attracts young people. Easy to find on the main Street.

It was well placed and good that breakfast was included although I missed out on 2nd morning as I was leaving too early.

As an older lady I’d have preferred an en suite bathroom but I knew I wouldn’t have one. However, it was good to have more showers and loos than at my previous accommodation in Interlaken and it was also good to have a basin in the bedroom.

It’s conveniently located.

The room was very small for the price. Also located by the communal WC and showers so very noisy.
