I was a little unsure what to expect after reading some of the reviews and staying over a busy weekend, but our stay and our room was perfect! Quiet, clean, gorgeously aesthetic with a bed so comfortable! We booked the spa with ease, had drinks at the bar one night, got a park near our room each night no probs. Hot showers with great pressure, the check in was seamless (we didn’t download the app just used the code they emailed). We stayed in 223 which was on the top level down the very end and found it great. We loved everything about this hotel and found it so unique and clever in design.

Few little improvements, Basketballs were flat, and finding the gym and sauna were tricky with no signage pointing you in the direction, we asked staff in the restaurant as we didn’t see anyone at reception at all, but wasn’t really a prob. They are upstairs from the restaurant for anyone wondering. Robes would appreciated to walk to and from the spa in as we did have to walk past the restaurant. Even an extra towel each to use for the spa so you’re not using your bathroom towel. A small room service menu would be awesome! Everything in town shut quite early on the Sunday and we didn’t fancy the formal restaurant after a big day of hikes.

Some gimmicks in the hotel feels unnecessary - unsure about the way of access and check-in the room is big but the layout of the furniture is a bit weird

The location is perfect. Staff are amazing. Facilities are great. You have everything you need and more! The BLAQ restaurant is the highlight - the steak was 10/10 and the wine list is tops.

Large parking, pretty surroundings. Really nice lady helped us with closing the room door (you have to stronlgy pull them, otherwise they don't lock). When we complained about the room cleanness, she offered some compensation, but we haven't seen her any more during our stay.

It has nothing to do with 4-star hotel. The room was large, but empty, it lacked even a small wardrobe. The staff was difficult to find on the premises. Bathroom could've been cleaner.
