Hotel Sorga Cottages

The Hotel Sorga Cottages is located in Kuta ten minutes by foot to the beach and has lots of restaurants nearby. It is reached by narrow roads and no loud traffic is disturbing this nice place with a lush garden and a great pool. My room was on the 1st floor with the balcony to the pool court. The room had a big comfortable bed, a cupboard, a table and chair and was equipped with a ventilator. The bathroom had a bath tub and wall tiles up to the ceiling. All floor and wall tiles were in good condition, but some seams at the tub would need repairs. It was clean except some layers of dust on the cupboard and ventilator. The pool is very big and deep and good for swimming and relaxing as well. Breakfast was served at the restaurant close to the garden and pool with coffee or tea, juice, fresh fruit and Indonesian style nasi goreng, pancakes or several styles of eggs and toast. The team at reception and lobby was always friendly and helpful. Close to the hotel are some laundry services available for reasonable price. A scooter rental is also around the corner. Lots of little shops, warungs, restaurants and bars are easy to reach. Cinema is at the Beachwalk shopping center about 15 minutes by foot. The Hotel Sorga Cottages is a nice and quiet place to stay and I enjoyed it for two weeks. Highly recommend !

The bathroom didn't have a window to open. Just glass blocks. A small window like the bathrooms on the ground floor have would be nice and helpful for ventilation and fresh air at night.

WiFi was bad and the water sometimes didn’t work

Das Hotel ist definitiv in die Jahre gekommen. Der Ventilator ist laut. Nachts rennen Mäuse oder ähnliches über die Zimmerdecke. Die Toilette beim Pool ist absolut unhygienisch. Als wir aufs Zimmer gekommen sind mussten wir erstmal Handtücher und Klopapier anfordern. Die Klospülung war sehr schwach und das Waschbecken undicht. Wir waren froh nach 1 Nacht gehen zu können.
