It would have been slightly better if closer to the sea, and the cockerel silenced

EVERYTHING!

One tiny detail. If they had a REAL espresso/cappuccino machine instead of those automated press a button machines it would have made things just that much better.

It is an exceptionally pleasant place with a sea view, a beautiful garden, and a restaurant. The rooms are tastefully furnished and impeccably maintained. The restaurant is great and has such a peaceful atmosphere that we had dinner there almost every evening. The breakfast featured very fresh products catering to every taste, and the coffee was—as expected in Italy—excellent. There is a parking space available; keep in mind that having a car is almost a must if you are staying at this hotel. The complex is charming, offering a wonderful sense of tranquility and care from the hosts, while being very well and unobtrusively maintained. Last but not least, it is only 5–10 minutes away from Tropea and the fantastic beach of Santa Domenica, making it a great base for exploring Calabria. I highly recommend this place!"
