The Craven Heifer Inn

Staff were friendly and the room beautifully decorated. Easy car parking a plus. Breakfast was delicious too.

There was a teaspoon on the bed and the previous occupants rubbish in the bin when we checked in. Staff were apologetic and can only assume cleaner got distracted mid task . The TV in the room didnt work - the channels had no signal .Wouldn't put us off going back though as the room/bedding was clean and staff excellent.

The staff were lovely,especially the evening bar lady! On arrival an early check in was accommodated also. The evening meal was delicious,both the pub and dining area were as lovely as the room we stayed in. Facilities and little extras in the room were great. The breakfast which was included in the price of the stay was served to us at the table and was delicious also. The beds were very comfy and warm and the room was nice and quiet. The outdoor area is very pretty and the whole experience was excellent value for money.

We booked two rooms a Kings size double and a cosy double at this exceptional hotel lovely rooms and bar restaurant area on a bus route to both Clitheroe and Skipton definitely stay again

The Hotel itself is lovely. Nice big rooms, (No 9) comfy beds, although slight stain on the duvet cover, soft close on toilet not working and noisy plumbing.

The staff in the morning at breakfast busy chatting to each other and not telling guests about the breakfast set up. Just to choose a table. We had never stayed here before,. We were not told about the breakfast bar area and only found out by chance after we had our breakfast. We weren't asked if everything was alright, possibly as I had asked for a hard egg on ordering, and a soft egg arrived, which I had to send back to the kitchen. When I spoke to a staff member about , not being told about the breakfast bar.I received a very insincere apology and told I could use it then.
