It was very convenient for the event we were attending. The room was comfortable with a good TV signal (we stayed on a very wet weekend!). The restaurant was very good, specialising in steak. The steak we had was beautifully cooked. The breakfast too was very good. The hotel is in the village and so easy for a walkabout to see the castle & Dylan’s boathouse etc. There is a small car park & we were able to park there on the two nights we stayed.
We were allocated a room called St Ishmael. It was very comfy and had everything we wanted, but it only had one very small window so no daylight and fresh air.

Rooms need a good clean. Bed was comfortable but there was an emergency light right next to the bed so not much use for a black out blind when your room is filled with green light when the lights go off.
Emergency light in room. Room was also above kitchen so had to listen to ventilation unit all nights
