We travelled as a family with two young children and had a wonderful stay. The location was perfect: close to plenty of restaurants, felt very safe, and an easy walk down to the V&A Waterfront. Henk was a great host, and the house was spotless. The bed was really comfortable, there was a lovely outdoor deck that was great for sitting at dawn/dusk, and the double-head shower was a highlight. There were lots of towels, plus a washing machine and a coffee machine which was fantastic. There's no TV, but that turned out to be a blessing. We played Jenga and card games instead. Overall, we were really happy with our stay and would recommend it.

The only small suggestion is that the beds had no flat sheets and the quilts could be updated.

Excellent and safe location in De Waterkant, close to shops, good cafes and restaurants. Great house, beautifully furnished, clean and well equipped for guests’ comfort. The host, Henke is very friendly and helpful.

Super Gastgeber und die Wohnung bzw das ganze Haus waren toll. Super Lage um die Stadt zu erkunden und alles Nötige in der Wohnung. Auch die Einrichtung war toll plus der kleine Pool auf dem Dach mit Aussicht

A warm, comfortable gem of a place in the most beautiful, quaint, and central location. Completely self-contained, with a kitchen/dining area that opens onto a gorgeous little garden that has a staircase leading up to a roof patio. I also fully appreciated having a washing machine! As a base for exploring Cape Town, you can't beat this. Many great restaurants, a pharmacy, and a food store are all within 200m radius. It's a 10-20 minute walk to the Waterfront, to Bo-Kaap, to the centre of the CBD, or down to the Greenpoint promenade.

nothing :)
