Strong showers, huge kitchen, big common room, and relaxed vibe
Some things could use some sprucing up. But for the price, I’m not complaining 😉

Great location. Comfy bed. Clean room and bedding. Room to breathe in the rooms, unlike London hostels that cram more beds in tiny spaces. Well equipped kitchen and dining area/common room for preparing, eating or socialising.
The unmanned reception felt like I was inconveniencing the staff to check in. I had to call to get someone.
Communal showers and toilets needed more frequent monitoring. Very loud outside music, I didn’t mind this, but I could imagine some guests might find this a problem. No lifts for accessibility needs. Curtains to give privacy at each bed would be nice.

The staff was very helpful & took my disability into consideration. I really appreciate them thinking about my needs.
Located next to everything-food, shopping, busses, attractions.
This isn't the fault of Rock & Bowl but the kitchen & fridge situation was a bit dirty. You assume because it's adults only, that people will clean up after themselves. Some of the food in the fridges looks to be months old. There really wasn't room for other people to put things unless they wanted to take it upon themselves to clean out the fridge 1st.

"Location was perfect - right in the centre of town. Exactly what I needed from a hostel. Price was fabulous and staff was lovely. All facilities clean and working and a towel was provided."
