Excellent evening meal, the chicken in jalapeño sauce was delicious . Enjoyed the pool.

There was a larger group before me at breakfast and most of the scrambled egg and cake were gone. You need to keep topping it up with fresh.

It was my last night in Costa Rica, after long hikes and before a 30 hour travel home, my body hurt and all I wanted was a bath and to sleep early. i couldn’t even shower due to the water pressure, though I confirmed with them twice in advance that I would specifically have a bath (I booked a superior room for this purpose). The manager completely ignored my request to find a solution and didn’t even answer my messages in the evening. The next day they gave me a different room and it was also, totally unusable. What a disappointment and waste of energy. I would definitely not have come if I knew this would be the experience, even if it was free.

Hotel hat einen pool, Nähe Strand/ Bootsableger zum Corcovado NP

Standardzimmer extrem klein und Fenster nur zu einem innenliegenden Gang, dadurch fast kein Tageslicht. Je nach Lage des Zimmers gehen andere Gäste am Gang vorbei und können hineinschauen. Oder man zieht die Vorhänge zu, hat dann aber gar kein Tageslicht. Poolbereich etwas ungepflegt .

The restaurant and staff were really great. The food was good, the rooms were clean and the grounds are very nice.

While the staff was friendly and responsive by email, it was very unclear whether the shuttle service to and from the airport was included as part of the price. It turns out it was not included, which is fine. However, when we arrived at the airport the shuttle did not show up and we had to take a taxi.

Very unique and cozy hotel. Felt safe nice breakfast!

Would have been nice to have access to ice. The employee working there went out of his way to scrap some ice together from the refrigerator which we were very grateful for! But there wasn’t an ice machine.

Staff, atmosphere, room cleanliness.

I think the pool could use a little maintenance/cleaning.

The room was good and quiet and the bed was comfortable.

I was told the wrong place to wait at the airport when transferring to the hotel. I was flying domestic but was told to wait for the taxi where international arrivals wait. The hotel later apologised. The hotel arranged a taxi for my last day of sightseeing. The hotel said the taxi accepted card payment, but that was incorrect. I had to find an ATM at the airport to withdraw dollars. The taxi driver was very good about it and waited until I found one.

The garden is beautiful, the room was clean and comfortable! It’s nice that they have a pool as well.
