So many things we liked. The location is great, a block from wonderful restaurants yet quiet, away from crowds. The staff are friendly, helpful hosts. On-site parking, a plus. Windows offered nice and views. Delicious free breakfast with lots of choices plus a table of cakes each morning. We were also offered the use of an upstairs kitchenette for simple meal preparation with a sink, dishes, glasses and cutlery, plus dining area.
Facilities are 100 years old, so lack some modern conveniences, but in return offer lots of charm. Our bathroom was small but okay. Heat was not turned yet, so a bit cold.

Very kind and welcoming staff. Great breakfast in a cosy room, nice location (road it is on is currently having some construction works but it very central). Room I was in was clean and comfortable if fairly basic. Really enjoyed my time.

Some of the facilities need updating. The bathroom and table lamps were broken, and the shower head was also damaged, which made showering quite difficult. Additionally, there was noticeable noise from neighbours after 10 pm.
On a positive note, the room was heated very well, and we stayed comfortably warm. There was also a good variety of breakfast options, which we appreciated. Great location, friendly staff apart from stressed looking owner lady. Smile would help
