Muzik Hotel - Ximen Station Branch

The location is very good and convenient especially if you would like to explore ximending.

The floor is oslightly dirty and dusty. Also, they don’t do cleaning service during extended stays 😞 They only offer taking out the trash and replacing bath towels.

Proximity to Ximending and located by the main road, easy for pick up and drop offs. Common area with amenities like extra trash bags, kettle etc were provided. Sound proofing was very good, even though the hotel shared a building with others eg: another hotel, restaurants, office spaces.

Booking was “window” room but the only window was a toilet window. The step up to the toilet is not elderly friendly.

Great staff, friendly and helpful on several occasions. Superb location.

There was an issue with my credit card which caused some inconvenience, but was eventually resolved. Some guests come in large groups occupying several rooms and can cause noise very late. The staff did act quickly on complaints each time and the noise was reduced.

I was able to get 2 bedrooms and 2 bathroom for myself and two adult kids which was convenient everyone had their own space.

There was very little flexibility with our early check‑in request, even though we communicated this well in advance. We understand early check‑in is never guaranteed, but in the past the hotel has usually tried to have the room ready a couple of hours earlier. This time, the front desk agent was not particularly understanding of our situation. We had been up since 5am for a four‑hour flight and arrived at 10am, with no option to take a later flight since it was the only one from our island. Being told we had to wait until 3pm felt dismissive of our circumstances. It wasn’t until a very polite young lady whom I recognized from previous stays (yes I was a third time return customer this time with kids) came to the desk that we were offered the option to pay for early check‑in. That solution worked perfectly for us. However, it was clear she felt uncomfortable after the gentleman at the desk intervened, as if she had done something wrong by trying to help. Once the option was granted, we stepped out to get something to eat and returned shortly after. We were then able to pay and check in about an hour earlier, which we appreciated.
