Mipo Oceanside Hotel

We stayed at Mipo Oceanside for three nights and had a really wonderful experience overall. The property is beautiful, and the rooms are modern, well-organized, and very comfortable, with a stunning ocean view. The housekeeping service was excellent: the staff were very kind, efficient, and thorough, and the room was cleaned to a very high standard. The location is absolutely perfect, right by the ocean and within easy reach of everything you might need. There are convenience stores and small shops downstairs, as well as restaurants within the same building, making it very easy to find food and essentials without having to go far. Another great feature is the rooftop bar on the top floor, where hotel guests can enjoy discounted prices. It’s a lovely extra that makes the stay even more enjoyable. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, and the overall experience was extremely positive. The beautiful rooms, breathtaking ocean views, excellent service, and fantastic location made our stay truly memorable.

The only downsides were a couple of minor inconveniences. Occasionally, there was an unpleasant sewer-like smell in the room, which seemed to come from the toilet or bathroom plumbing. I’m not sure how easily this issue can be resolved, but it was noticeable at times. Another inconvenience was the positioning of the air conditioning unit, which was installed directly above the bed and blew air straight onto it. Unfortunately, the button to adjust the direction of the air vents didn’t seem to work, so it wasn’t possible to redirect the airflow. This made it a little uncomfortable at times, especially while sleeping.

Stayed for three nights which I felt was the right amount of time to see everything we wanted to see. The hotel is in a fantastic location right by the beach. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops around plus an amazing fusion ice cream shop which was out of this world! We had a deluxe room which had a fabulous view of the sea. The room was quite small with no area for luggage or hanging clothes, which was ok for us but others may find this an issue. The breakfast was a self serve affair. It was basic but absolutely fine. Cook your own eggs, toast and jam, flavoured yogurts. I didn’t see any decaf anything or gluten free bread etc so not sure if you had to ask. Nice and clean and surprisingly quiet. Aircon worked well which is always a plus! Would definitely recommend but Busan is very spread out so if it’s the beach you want you’re in the right place! Would definitely stay again.

Lots of single use plates, cups and plastic cutlery at breakfast which didn’t sit well with me. I know they recycled them but I wondered if there was a better way to be more eco friendly.

Der Blick aufs Meer aus den meerseitigen Zimmern bzw. direkt vom Bett aus ist traumhaft! Die Lage am Ende des Strandes bietet sehr viel Abwechslung, Cafes und Shops in Gehweite. Der Gastgeber ist sehr bemüht bei allen Anliegen zu helfen. Die Fenster lassen sich öffnen und man hört die Wellen.

Für einen mehrtägigen Aufenthalt im meerseitigen Zimmer ist es ein wenig schwierig aus dem Koffer zu leben, da es kaum Ablageflächen gibt. Das inkludierte Frühstück ist einfach und in Selbstbedienung.

I liked everything about this property! It was so restful and relaxing, and the best single thing about it was the room itself, with a window that would open to let in the sounds of the surf, and you could lay in bed, and all you could see was the ocean, and if you looked a little bit the right, the length of the entire beach. The breakfast was the best I've had in Asia thus far on my six-week journey, there was coffee and water available 24/7, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the bathroom and shower was great, and so on and so on. If I return to Busan, this is where I would stay again, without question.

I cannot think of a single thing that needs improving. An infinity pool on the roof maybe? Ha ha ha ha.
