Great property and good location The rooms are very small, but I suppose quite Quirky I would probably expected to be a little cheaper for the size of the room if I’m

I wouldn’t say I disliked anything

Everything was very clean, the food was lovely, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. I really appreciated their warm hospitality and enjoyed my stay. I would happily return when visiting Newbury.

I didn't like the noise from the neighbouring pubs and the street, but I suppose it is not unusual for Saturdays and Fridays.

Close to the canal, easy walking distance for exploring the city.

Quirky & good parking & access to pub. Friendly enough staff.

Tight access to rooms. Bathroom heating was on constantly, so sweating even with fan on. (and needs dusting on softwood wall shelf with spare toilet roll). Breakfast, we needed to pay extra for soft drink. Tea came out with off milk, so needed replacing after constant reminders. No discount offered for inconvenience.
